Here you will find useful forms related to the certification of your exporting documents.

Electronic certification is the next-generation solution that allows exporters and forwarders to issue a certificate of origin and have their documents certified for export electronically.

A simple and effective process

  • Documents are submitted to the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) electronically by exporters and freight forwarders.
  • Documents are reviewed, accepted, stamped, signed and returned to the CCMM electronically.
  • Certified documents can be printed by exporters and freight forwarders from a quality colour printer.
  • Certified documents are stored securely and confidentially by the CCMM.

In order to ensure that our stamps are used in an appropriate way and to reaffirm the fact that the CCMM can't be held responsible for the accuracy of the information provided on certificates of origin and other documents, we request that these documents be notarized before they are signed by the CCMM.

The CCMM allows companies that are frequent users of our service to place a letter of waiver on file which replaces the need to notarize each and every certificate of origin that you present to us.
