If you are recruiting for summer jobs and paid internships, this measure can provide you with access to a pool of young dynamic Montrealers between 16 and 18 years of age, most of whom are members of visible minority groups.

You could also qualify for a grant of up to $2,500 per youth, as well as support and advice throughout the employment period.

The internships must:

  • Last at least 7 consecutive weeks during the summer
  • Offer compensation equal to the minimum wage plus $1 or more
  • Allow for coaching, training and transfer of skills to young people
  • Be covered by your insurance
