Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada

The Loan Fund is part of the BEP. It is a partnership between the federal government, business organizations run by members of the Black community and several financial institutions.

The fund will provide loans of up to $250,000 to black business owners and entrepreneurs.

The Canadian government's investment will be managed by the Federation of African Canadian Economics (F.A.C.E.).

The Loan Fund will open in May 2021.
